Why Lebron should sign with the Phoenix Suns.

The Phoenix Suns have a ton of money and cap space to play with this coming summer and Lebron should look to sign with the Suns. Here is why, they have a young star in Devin Booker who is an

assassin on the offensive end with a score first mindset. Lebron at this stage of his career at the age of 34 should look to share the offensive load with a player who could aid him and carry an offense on his back when needed.

Devin Booker can do just that, he is not the most athletic shooting guard but he has an array of moves in the post and can back down defenders and shoot over them. Good size for a shooting guard at 6’6 and an exceptional 3 point shooter off the catch and dribble, not to mention he would be the ideal target for Lebron on fast breaks for 3 pointers a lot like Klay is for Steph. There is not a shot Booker can’t make out on the floor and Lebron should take notice of that.

They also boast a young athletic forward in Josh Jackson who looks every bit a future all-star once he figures out how to utilize his athleticism and become a better decision maker out on the floor. Coach Tiriano has looked over tape with Josh and shown him ways in which he could be more effective and it has lead to him joining the starting unit.

Everyone expects Lebron to sign with the Spurs,Rockets, or Lakers but why not go to a young team like Phoenix where you can play with Josh and Devin who with his mentoring could become perennial all-stars for years to come? Could they win a title within 3-4 years? Certainly, Josh Jackson and Devin Booker are franchise cornerstones, adding on Lebron James would put them at least top 5 in the West. Did I forget to tell you they could even draft NCAA phenom Trae Young who is tearing it up in college and is a guaranteed top 5 pick?

To conclude the Suns will be big players in free-agency this coming summer, drafting Trey Young who is potentially the next Stephen Curry if not better would make for a backcourt good enough to rival Steph and Klay maybe as early as next year(Trae Young is that special). Booker might not be the defender Klay is but the kid has the makings of a potential league leading scorer, so does Trae. Bring in Fizdale during the summer to coach them and you’ve got a potential powerhouse in the West. Lebron would accomplish what the legendary Charles Barkley came so close to accomplishing 1993, bringing a title to the Valley of the Sun.
