From drafting Cauley-Stein, to signing George Hill, to Buddy Hield’s failure to adjust to a new setting, what is the direction in Sacramento? Fox is the only untouchable on that roster, Bogdanovic has
potential but has not really had a breakout game yet.
Cauley-Stein is in and out of the starting lineup and seems to perform better off the bench but he’s clearly no cornerstone to build around with, Hield has failed to take advantage of the opportunity and has guys like Garrett Temple starting over him. Joerger is a phenomenal but he’s seriously having a hard time finding the right lineup to play with.
Not that my opinion matters but they should be prioritizing starting Fox and Bogdanovic in the backcourt and giving Malachi or Justin the starting small forward spot. The center position can be solved in the draft by drafting Bamba,Ayton,Wendell,Robert, or Bagley. I do not see Vlade Divac’s plan, Hill and Randolph aren’t doing much for the young guys as the Kings are getting crushed night in night out. I’ll tell you guys this much though, Fox will be special.
